Lauren brings over 40 years’ front-line financial services experience to her current role as CEO together with over a decade of community focused volunteering.
Harriet is delighted to have joined NCB and brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from previous management roles in high-street banking, and customer service management within other sectors.
She is dedicated to increasing the skill set and enhancing the roles of her operational team. Harriet is passionate about improving the customer experience by developing the functions and services offered in the sector, to make fair and ethical finance more accessible in the wider community.
Yvonne brings a diverse range of skills and expertise to Team NCB; honed from working across different sectors such as: RAF, NHS, Private, Commercial and Voluntary sector as a Trustee.
Yvonne’s motivation is to establish key business relationships and partnerships with PAYROLL deduction service, that helps build strategic Financial Well-being/Resilience agendas. An effective People Developer, who gets that staff are key to business success and growth. With an empowering and enabling approach, she provides insights into tools to continuously improve the Northumberland Community Banks development and member experience. An emerging role providing complimentary ‘thought leadership’ in support of the CEO.
Finance Systems Lead
Cameron joined Northumberland Community Bank from leaving school, he completed a one-year apprenticeship and successful secured a new role as NCBs Finance Systems Lead.
Cameron is passionate about continuous improvement and development and has progressed on to a second-year apprenticeship Level 3 qualification in IT Infrastructure Technician. He leads the line in the development of NCB’s Information & Digital Technology and hopes to make fair finance available and easily accessible to more people.
Customer Services Lead
Julie joined the team as a volunteer in February 2018. She has progressed quickly to secure a level 2 apprenticeship in Customer Service and won both the Regional and National Apprenticeship Awards in 2019.
Julie came to Northumberland Community Bank with 20 years of experience in factory work where she had gained many transferable skills. Over those years she has also increased her skill level completing several college courses. She is now a, much valued, permanent member of Team NCB and the Customer Service Lead. Her role covers all aspect of customer service including granting loans, opening accounts and cash control.
Finance Officer P/T
Dave joined Northumberland Community Bank in 2016 and is responsible for the Bank’s internal and audited financial accounts and submitting the Regulatory Returns.
Dave joined the credit union movement in 2004 after retiring from mainstream banking with 31 years’ service.
He began as a Loans Officer, moving onto the Chief Officer role at Northern Oak Credit Union and then Finance Manager at NEFirst Credit Union where he still spends 60% of his time. He has acquired great experience in all aspects of credit union rules and regulations and ensuring NCB complies with them all.
